Documenting First Nations

This is an interview of the artist Adrian Auger, a member of the bear clan of the Anishinaabe tribe. Adrian was one of three Indigenous artists in the exhibition "Stories of Our Land" which I curated during the summer of 2024. I hoped to shed light on the inspirations and meaning behind Adrian's artwork, which draws on Indigenous and modern inspirations to create authentic connections between cultures.
